LAI Flight Training

Lapeer Aviation offers flight training and ground school by way of our flight school LAI Flight Training. Our instructors have many years of flight instructing experience with a focus on safety. Our fleet includes an IFR Certified Cessna 172P, an IFR Certified Piper Warrior II with a Garmin 430 and a light sport Rans S-7 aircraft. Our fleet is well maintained and are among the lowest rental prices in Michigan beginning at just $95 per hour wet.

LAI Flight training can help you obtain your Private Pilot, Recreation or Sport Pilot license and Instrument rating. We also offer an in depth, instructor lead ground school. You will not be sent off to study by yourself with an online course, you will train in an environment that promotes learning. 3 day courses promote the memorizing of test questions without learning the information.
