MacAir Aviation

MacAir Aero Club is the premier flight training program in Southwest Ohio. MacAir Aero Club is the former Wright Patt Aero Club and has been teaching people to fly since 1946.

With 45 instructor pilots, a large standardized piper fleet of Warriors, Archers, Arrows, Seneca, and Aztec as well as 9 Cirrus SR22, 3 Cessna 207s, a Decathlon and an occasional Pitts, we can support a wide range of students and interests. MacAir's avionics are standardized and advanced with Avidyne IFD 440s, Dual Garmin G5 and Lynx 9000 Transponders.

MacAir is a Part 141 flight training program and can also support Part 61 training. MacAir is VA approved for direct billing. MacAir also supports Sinclair College Flight Training Programs and the USAFSAM Aeromedical Aviation Laboratory providing world class flight training to all new Air Force Flight Surgeons.

During busy seasons MacAir will fly more than 1700 hours per month. MacAir has its own part 145 Maintenance center, with avionics shop, and provides it line support and fuel allowing it to provide a full service program.

The Aero Club also occasionally does movie nights, fly-outs, and parties making it a fund place to make friends. MacAir prides it self in providing effective, safe and affordable flight training programs and aircraft rentals to support the young, the mid life and the experienced want to be pilots.
