Phoenix Flying School offer flying training, flying lessons and introductory trial flying lessons in the Sheffield, Nottingham, Newark and Doncaster area. We pride ourselves in operating in a friendly relaxed but professional atmosphere for anyone interested in learning to fly.

We have an excellent team of instructors who have a wide range of experience in many aspects of aviation.

We offer flying towards EASA PPL(A), LAPL(A), NPPL, IMC/IRR licences.

Check flights, Trial lessons, tail wheel , aerobatic,instrument training, Motor-glider conversions,or just some fun flying!

Current costs: (at 1 March 2014)

• FRA-150 Aerobat (instruction) £125 per hour (PPL hire) £100 per hour
• Cessna 150 ´taildragger´ £125 per hour (PPL hire) £98 per hour
• Cessna 172 (instruction) £155 per hour (PPL hire) £135 per hour

No membership fees.
