Pilot Rise Flight School

Pilot Rise is an award-winning flight school serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area from two locations: Hicks Airfield near Fort Worth and Dallas Executive Airport in Dallas. We provide structured, personalized flight training designed to prepare students for real-world flying, not simply to pass a checkride.

Our programs include Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII), accelerated training, and career pilot programs. Students can train on a flexible schedule or pursue an accelerated path depending on their goals and availability.

Pilot Rise combines the flexibility of Part 61 training with structured syllabi, stage checks, standardized instructors, and detailed training records inspired by professional airline training programs. Students also receive access to an FAA-approved aviation training device to practice procedures, navigation, instrument flying, emergencies, and other skills without the expense of operating an aircraft.

Our fleet includes proven training aircraft equipped for primary and advanced flight instruction. Aircraft receive regular inspections and professional maintenance oversight to help provide a safe and reliable training environment.

We believe good flight training should be transparent and individualized. Students can pay as they go without being required to prepay an entire course, and financing options are available. Training is adapted around each student's progress so time is spent developing the skills and knowledge that need the most attention.

Pilot Rise was recognized by AOPA as a Distinguished Flight School in both 2025 and 2026. Whether your goal is earning your first pilot certificate, flying recreationally, adding advanced ratings, or pursuing a professional aviation career, our focus is the same: quality instruction, safety, mentorship, and practical preparation.

Not just certified. Ready.
