The Purdue University’s Department of Aviation Technology focuses on the preparation of our graduates for challenging and rewarding careers in the aviation industry. Purdue University offers a diverse, internationally recognized aviation education program at a world class teaching and research institution. Undergraduate degree programs in aeronautical engineering technology, aviation management, and professional flight technology prepare students for leadership roles in industry, education and research. Graduate degree programs on campus and via distance learning further train scientific and industry professionals in one of a multitude of specialties related to the field of aviation.

We operate a training fleet of 16 Cirrus SR20 aircraft, 2 Piper Seminoles, a fully-aerobatic Super Decathalon, a Beechjet, and an Embraer Phenom 100.
