Route 66 Aviation

Welcome to Route 66 Aviation flight training! We offer the best flight training in the Amarillo, Texas area. We offer training for students interested in the following areas: private pilot, commercial rating, instrument rating, certified flight instructor, and certified flight instrument instructor.

We train in the most utilized training aircraft in the world, the Cessna 172. Our aircraft is impeccably maintained by a mechanic with over 30 years of aviation experience. It has been rennovated and is very well equipped. Students will receive training with a traditional instrument panel as well as a Garmin 430 GPS with WAAS capability.

Our flight instructor has over 30 years experience and has trained over 100 students helping them to realize their aviation dreams! We train here in Amarillo with beautiful weather and stunning sunsets.
