About
Skyhawk is a comprehensive flight training operation, CAA Approval 0339, based next to the main terminal building at Lanseria International Airport, South Africa.
Established by Mike Gough as a result of the need to fill the niche gap that exists in flight schools - namely that of a high quality approach, with emphasis on interaction with experienced instructors - avoiding the "sausage machine" syndrome. Mike has been associated with, as well as the founder of, several training organizations and invites the client to benefit from this experience.
As a Designated Flight Examiner (DFE 1) as well as an Airbus instructor, a need for cross pollination of methodologies has been identified, and many of the safety principles of airline flying are integrated into Skyhawks training and re-validation programs.

Definitely a friendly and professional flying school and I have no regrets that I have chosen this flying school to complete my NVFR training and my hour building with these amazing people. I visited numerous number of international airports through my hour building experience by flying to different countries and apart from that they are equipped with a brand new Pipistrel aircraft that makes your flying experience way more professional and fun!
