Welcome to Dallas’ premier flight school Slipstream Aviation. We offer traditional and accelerated flight training programs for domestic and international students. Whether you want to become a pilot for fun and recreation, or pursue a career in aviation, Slipstream Aviation is here to help you become the best pilot you can be.

Slipstream was founded in the spring of 2006 with the intention of offering outstanding flight instruction as well as unique aircraft rentals at reasonable rates.

Our primary training aircraft is the Grumman Cheetah. The Cheetah has proved to be a tremendous trainer in that it provides outstanding handling qualities while being safe, efficient, and a lot of fun. The Cheetah has a sliding canopy which provides wonderful visibility and can even be flown with the canopy partially open. Come join us at the Dallas Executive Airport (KRBD) and join the fun.

Slipstream Aviation partners with Utah Valley University (UVU) to offer 2-year and 4-year degree programs. All of the college classes are taken online with UVU and the flights are done with us at Slipstream Aviation in Dallas, Texas.

They took care of my single engine commercial and multi commercial addon. Price was good, and got me taken care of quickly. Derek

I’ve been flying at Slipstream for the last three years, going from zero time to private, multi-engine, instrument, and commercial licenses. Of all the flight schools I checked out (about five), Slipstream won me over because of its location at Dallas Executive, which is towered but far less busy than Addison, and because of the owner and head instructor, who was clearly passionate about what he does. That initial impression has proved to be accurate in my time there. Throughout initial training, you mostly fly with junior instructors, but the owner is very scrupulous about who he hires; while he could find enough work for a couple more instructors, in my time there I have seen him pass on several prospective hires because they weren’t up to his standards. As I’ve started actually getting work as a pilot over the last few months, I’ve been increasingly grateful for the preparation I’ve gotten from Slipstream. The planes are also great trainers, with maintenance taken very seriously. C. Wiltse

This school is a worse aviation school you can ever attend. If you need to get your piloting license don´t waste your money here, the owner dosen,t have any respect for you, your time and your money. All the owner think about is money and if you are a foreigner !! Good luck:@ so do your self a favor getting piloting license is not easy and cheap but Instead of spend money with people who are just wasting your time and don´t have anything to offer find a school and respectable people to work with and learn from them. Go somewhere that has solid plan and schedule for you while you are there for training, somewhere that they listen to your needs, request and they work with you base on that not some non sense reasons that they have in mind.
