Southern Wings

Proud to be one of New Zealand’s leading flight training schools, Southern Wings have a long standing reputation of providing quality pilots to the aviation industry.  

We offer the New Zealand Diploma in Aviation, and other options including PPL, CPL, Instructor and Instrument rating courses.  We also provide Charter flights on request.  

The college is equipped with modern aircraft and comfortable teaching facilities.  We operate a varied, well-maintained fleet suitable for all training purposes. The college’s main base is located at Invercargill Airport, with a second base situated in Auckland.  

Southern Wings has been appointed as Air New Zealand´s Aviation Institutes Preferred Flight Training Organisation, there are only five such organisations in the country.
