About

Spectrum Airways is located at the Burlington Airpark and is open 7 days a week from 8am to sunset, weather permitting. We provide flight training for the Private License and Recreational Pilot Permit. We also provide training for the Commercial and Instructor Ratings under the Private Career College Act. Additional endorsements include the Night Rating, Multi Engine Rating, VFR OTT and Instrument Rating.

To obtain a Private Pilot Licence, the student must be 17 years of age and 14 years of age to solo. The training consists of at least 45 hours flight time and 40 hours of ground school. The flights are usually conducted in a Cessna 152. Transport Canada requires a flight test and written exam be completed for the licence. The flight costs are paid as you fly by Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Interac.

Our fleet consists of 18 aircraft including the Cessna 152, 172 and Skyhawk, the Piper Warrior, and Seneca available for training, rental, and charter. We also have a flight simulator, and there are 18 flight instructors on staff.
