Southern Maine Aviation

Southern Maine Aviation was founded in 2005 and has quickly grown to be one of the premier flight training and maintenance facilities in New England. The reason is simple - we love what we do.

Our FAA-certified instructors here at Southern Maine Aviation have trained hundreds of pilots and have an incredible amount of experience, training people for pilot careers, to fly for business, or flying just for pleasure. Learning to fly takes commitment but is not as expensive or as difficult as many people think.

Southern Maine Aviation can offer training for the following in our own or your aircraft:

• Sport Pilot Certificate
• Private Pilot Certificate (FAA Part 141 Program)
• Instrument Rating (FAA Part 141 Program)
• Spin and Upset/Recovery
• Training Tailwheel Endorsements
• Flight Reviews
• G1000 training (in our simulator)

While we encourage new students to enroll in the Part 141 program, we can also provide Part 61 training for more flexibility.
