Thunderbird Aviation has been in operation at the Flying Cloud Airport since 1962. We provide charter services, aircraft maintenance as well as flight training.

Thunderbird Aviation owns and maintains the largest fleet of aircraft for instruction and rental in the state. With over 30 aircraft, including 10 different types, we have the right aircraft for your needs.

We are the official aviation training provider for Academy College, a fully accredited college located in Bloomington, Minnesota. Thunderbird Aviation’s programs have been training quality pilots and managers for years.
